A car accident lawyer can help you understand your legal options and protect your rights. There are a few steps that you should take after your accident to ensure your health and well-being are protected. These include:
Call 911 and request both police and medical personnel at the scene. If you are injured in a car accident, your first priority is to get to a hospital as soon as possible. You will want to be checked out to ensure your injuries are not life-threatening and get care for what you have suffered.

If possible, get the names and contact information of anyone who witnessed the crash. This can help you build a personal injury case in the future.
Take pictures of the scene of the crash and any injuries you may have sustained. This will help law enforcement officials determine what happened in the accident and who is responsible.
Make a list of all the vehicles involved in the accident and their license plates. This will help identify who was at fault when you pursue legal action.
Finally, contact a car accident lawyer in Los Angeles as soon as possible. You will want to begin filing your case as soon as possible to avoid losing witnesses, evidence, and other important information surrounding your crash.
