Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in California
Pedestrian accidents take the lives of thousands of innocent people every year in the United States. Here in California, hundreds of people die as a result of these traffic wrecks. Unfortunately, the majority of them are entirely preventable.
Speeding drivers continue to take the lead when it comes to fatal accident causes. Here in California, drivers who are traveling above the posted speed limit contribute to a significant portion of the accidents that take place. In addition, many accidents are caused by drivers who are distracted. When drivers are failing to pay attention to the road and everything around them, they are likely to miss seeing pedestrians before it is too late.
Losing a loved one as a result of another driver’s negligence can be incredibly difficult to deal with. Unfortunately, families in California have their lives completely torn apart every day as a result of drivers who are reckless and negligent. If your loved one has died due to a fatal pedestrian crash, a wrongful death lawyer in Huntington Beach can help your family protect your legal rights and move forward.
After losing a loved one, your family is entitled to recover compensation for funeral costs, lost earning capacity, and more.
