Santa Clarita, CA – Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on 14 Freeway in Agua Dulce
Santa Clarita, CA (August 15, 2022) – A pedestrian crash reported in the Santa Clarita area left one person injured. At around 9:40 p.m., on August 12, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash that occurred on 14 Freeway.
Reports from authorities show that a party bus was traveling on the northbound side of 14 Freeway when the vehicle began to overheat near Agua Dulce. The bus pulled over to the side of the road.
The bus driver exited the vehicle near the Agua Dulce Canyon Road off-ramp and was struck by a black Nissan Sentra.
The driver was injured in the crash. Paramedics rendered aid to the victim before transporting them to an area hospital for further care.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
