San Diego, CA – Scooter Crash with Pickup on Madison Ave near Florida St Ends in Injuries
San Diego, CA (August 19, 2022) - A crash took place in the San Diego area on Wednesday evening that left one person injured. At around 4:55 p.m., on August 17, the San Diego Police Department was dispatched to a collision that occurred on Madison Avenue.
reports from SDPD show that a 37-year-old man was riding a scooter through the intersection of Madison Avenue and Florida Street during the early evening hours. At the same time, a 57-year-old man was driving a Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck in the same direction.
As the pickup truck turned in front of the scooter, the two vehicles collided.
The man on the scooter suffered significant injuries due to the crash. He was rushed to a local hospital for emergency care.
The crash is under investigation by the San Diego Police Department at this time.
