San Bernardino, CA – One Killed in Fiery Crash on 10 Freeway near Cedar Ave
San Bernardino, CA (October 4, 2022) – One person has died as a result of a fiery crash that occurred on Sunday morning in San Bernardino. On October 2, the California Highway Patrol responded to the site of a crash on 10 Freeway.
At approximately 2:06 a.m., CHP received reports that a collision occurred on the eastbound side of 10 Freeway during the morning hours. Authorities arrived at the scene and located a Chevrolet SUV that was involved in a crash with a white sedan on the eastbound side of the freeway near Cedar Avenue.
The impact of the collision caused the sedan to catch on fire. Both vehicles came to rest, blocking the roadway. CHP and firefighters blocked off several lanes of travel.
One person suffered fatal injuries due to the crash. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash at this time.
