Pomona, CA – Woman Loses Life in 10 Freeway Crash near Fairplex Dr
Pomona, CA (October 6, 2023) – A woman lost her life as a result of a fatal accident that took place in Pomona. The California Highway Patrol troopers were notified of the crash at around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4.
According to reports, a collision involving multiple vehicles took place on the westbound side of the San Bernardino Freeway, the 10 Freeway. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle, a blue sedan, to overturn.
A woman in the vehicle was fatally injured. She was pronounced deceased on-site by responding officers. Two children in the vehicle, ages three and five, were injured. The two victims were transported to local hospitals for emergency treatment.
All of the westbound lanes of the highway were shut down as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
Investigations into the crash are underway.
