Palm Springs, CA – Cecilia Villalobos & Two Children Killed in Car Crash on 10 Freeway
Palm Springs, CA (May 16, 2023) – Three people have died as a result of a crash that took place on Sunday in the Palm Springs area.
The accident was reported to the California Highway Patrol at approximately 8:10 a.m. on May 14.
Reports provided by the California Highway Patrol show that a Tesla and a Chevrolet Suburban collided on the 10 Freeway during the morning hours. After the collision, the suburban continued forward and struck the center divider.
Authorities confirm that 31-year-old Cecilia Villalobos, a 10-year-old girl, and a 12-year-old girl were all ejected from the vehicle. All three victims died from their injuries.
Four other children, identified as a 3-year-old girl, a 7-year-old girl, an 11-year-old girl, and a 15-year-old boy, all suffered serious injuries.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
