Los Angeles, CA – Western Ave Crash at 83rd St Takes One Life
Los Angeles, CA (November 27, 2023) – The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that 26-year-old Alma Letecia Aragon lost her life as a result of a crash that occurred in the Los Angeles area on Thursday, November 23.
According to reports from the Los Angeles Police Department, Aragon and her 8-year-old daughter were walking in the area of Western Avenue and 83rd Street at around 1:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, a drunk driver pulled out of a liquor store and struck another vehicle, which was being operated by a speeding driver. The speeding vehicle struck Aragon and her child.
Aragon was fatally injured in the crash. Her young child was rushed to a local hospital for emergency care. At this time, no further information regarding criminal charges has been released. The incident is being investigated.
