Car Accidents in California
Being hurt in a car crash can have a significant impact on your health and well-being. Many people involved in accidents are left with serious injuries that require medical care. We often see victims left with broken bones, trauma to the head, and other serious injuries that require medical care.
Unfortunately, no matter how careful you are while operating your vehicle, there is no way to prevent other people from engaging in negligent actions while behind the wheel. As a result, a significant number of innocent people suffer serious injuries and accidents due to the reckless and careless actions of others.
After being injured in an accident, car crash victims have the legal opportunity to file a personal injury claim against the person who is at fault for the accident. To be successful in your lawsuit, you will need to be able to demonstrate negligence. When it comes to personal injury lawsuits, a person can be considered negligent if they are speeding, impaired, or distracted. These and other negligent actions are a direct breach to the duty of care that is owed by drivers in our state.
After successfully demonstrating that the driver was negligent, you must be able to show that they caused the accident that left you with damages. Damages can be lost wages, medical costs, vehicle repair expenses, and other economic and non-economic losses and expenses you face. Working with a Los Angeles car accident lawyer can help you prove your case against the defendant.
