Car Accidents in California
Auto accidents frequently occur in California. Here in the Los Angeles area, we see countless people left with serious injuries due to the negligence of drivers. Some of the most common causes of car accidents here in California include:
- Speeding: Going over the speed limit is one of the surest ways to increase your chances of being in an accident. Unfortunately, thousands of people across the state are left with devastating injuries as a result of speeding drivers every year.
- Drunk driving: Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs impairs your ability to operate a vehicle safely. Even a small amount of alcohol can make it difficult to focus on driving, and reaction times are slowed.
- Reckless driving: This includes any type of dangerous or careless driving, such as tailgating, making sudden lane changes, or even aggressive driving behaviors.
When drivers engage in negligent actions while behind the wheel, they increase the chances of others sharing the road suffering serious injuries due to accidents that they cause.
