Los Angeles, CA – Two Killed in Woodley Blvd Crash near Victory Blvd
Los Angeles, CA (July 7, 2023) – The Los Angeles police department confirmed that 74-year-old Aura de la Cruz Calderon de Tobar and her 5-year-old grandson died as a result of a car crash that took place on Thursday evening, July 6.
According to official reports, a white Honda Accord was traveling in the 6400 block of Woodley Avenue during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed over the centerline and crashed into a gray Honda Civic.
They Honda Civic was occupied by Aura de la Cruz Calderon de Tobar and her grandson at the time of the accident. The two victims were severely injured. Despite medical efforts, both victims passed away from their injuries.
Authorities determined that the driver of the Honda was under the influence at the time of the accident.
Investigations into the crash are currently underway.
