Los Angeles, CA – Two Hurt in Auto Wreck on W Jefferson Blvd
Los Angeles, CA (January 28, 2023) – A traffic accident took place in the Los Angeles area on Thursday evening that left two people injured. Just after 5:40 p.m., on January 26, officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene of a traffic crash that took place on West Jefferson Boulevard.
According to reports, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 5000 block of West Jefferson Boulevard during the evening hours. A motorcycle was also involved in the accident.
A woman in an Acura fled the scene of the accident without stopping. The police blocked off multiple lanes on the eastbound side of the roadway as they worked to clear the scene.
Two people suffered injuries due to the crash. Both victims were transported by ambulance to area hospitals. One victim was admitted in critical condition. The condition of the second victim is not known.
At this time, the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the accident.
