Los Angeles, CA – Teen Struck by Motorcycle on Whittier Blvd near Orme Ave
Los Angeles, CA (April 2, 2023) – A 13-year-old boy was left critically injured as a result of a crash that occurred in the Boyle Heights area on Thursday afternoon.
At around 3:30 p.m. on March 30, emergency crews were called to the site of an auto accident on Whittier Boulevard.
Reports show that the boy was crossing the roadway near Orme Avenue, in a marked crosswalk, when he was struck by a motorcycle. The driver of the eastbound motorcycle fled the scene of the crash.
The pedestrian sustained severe injuries in the accident after being knocked to the ground. He was rushed to a local hospital and admitted in critical condition.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
