Los Angeles, CA –Teen Loses Life in DUI Crash on La Brea Ave near Coliseum St
Los Angeles, CA (June 18, 2023) – An 18-year-old male lost his life as a result of a car crash that took place in the Baldwin Hills section of the city. The accident was reported at around 11:45 p.m. on June 16.
Reports from the Los Angeles Police Department show that a vehicle was traveling south on La Brea Avenue when the driver made a left turn onto Coliseum Street in front of a second vehicle. As a result, the vehicles collided.
The driver of the second vehicle, identified as an 18-year-old male, was severely hurt. He was transported to an area hospital, where he passed away from his injuries.
Two passengers in the second vehicle, identified as two 17-year-old females, suffered injuries and were transported to area hospitals.
Authorities believe that the driver of the vehicle that turned was possibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
