Los Angeles, CA – Seven Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Wreck on W 81st St near 110 Freeway
Los Angeles, CA (October 5, 2023) – More than half a dozen people were injured in a crash that occurred in the Florence-Firestone neighborhood on the south side of Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon.
Just after 1:00 p.m. on October 4, the Los Angeles Police Department was notified that a crash occurred on West 81st Street.
According to official reports, the police attempted to pull a vehicle over after spotting this suspect driving it in the area of 83rd Street. The driver of the vehicle took off at a high speed and crashed into a car in the 200 block of West 81st Street in the area just east of the 110 Freeway.
A third vehicle was also involved in the collision.
Seven people, including three children, were injured in the crash. The victims were identified as three young girls, ages five, four, and five months; two adult women, ages 36 and 24; and two adult men, ages 28 and 40. The victims were all transported to area hospitals for emergency care.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the crash.
