Los Angeles, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Century Blvd near Figueroa St
Los Angeles, CA (August 1, 2023) – A woman lost her life as a result of a pedestrian accident that occurred late Saturday evening on the South Side of Los Angeles.
At around 10:00 p.m. on July 30, calls for assistance were received regarding a pedestrian accident on Century Boulevard.
Reports provided by the Los Angeles Police Department show that a driver was traveling in reverse in the area of Century Boulevard and Figueroa Street when they struck a pedestrian. The vehicle also collided with several parked vehicles on the road. The vehicle also struck the entrance to the 7-Eleven Store nearby.
The pedestrian was severely hurt in the crash. The victim, who was identified as a female, was rushed to a local hospital, where she later passed away from her injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was taken into police custody. At this time, investigations into the crash are underway.
