Car Accidents in California
Every day, hundreds of car accidents that leave victims with devastating injuries occur in California. There are several types of accidents that we commonly see on our state’s roadways. These include:
- Single-car accidents: When there is only one car involved, an accident of this kind takes place. Accidents involving a single car can sometimes involve other factors as well, such as pedestrians, buildings, huge items, bridges, and other structures. Rollovers are a possible outcome of these events, which can be extremely serious.
- Low-Impact Crash: These accidents generally occur at a low speed. Rear-end collisions, sideswipes, and fender benders are common causes of the kinds of incidents that fall under this category. Even though they may not result in significant property damage, low-impact incidents can still result in injuries to the passengers and drivers involved in the incident.
- Sideswipe accidents: A sideswipe collision takes place when two vehicles collide side-to-side. A common reason for a sideswipe collision is when a motorist is distracted with something else, is very tired, or is under the influence of alcohol or drugs and drifts into the lane next to it, colliding with the vehicle beside them.
