Los Angeles, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries Reported on I-215 Freeway near University Ave
Los Angeles, CA (September 8, 2022) – A traffic incident took place in the Los Angeles area on Wednesday morning that resulted in injuries. At about 6 a.m., on September 7, the California Highway Patrol received a request to provide assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle collision in Riverside on Interstate 215 Freeway.
Investigations surrounding the accident indicate that a total of four vehicles were involved in a collision on the Interstate 215 freeway. Upon arriving at the scene, California Highway Patrol located a white Mercedes-Benz SUV, a black sedan, a blue Nissan Sentra, and a fourth vehicle blocking the roadway near University Avenue.
The crash left all of the vehicles with damage, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics responded to the site of the accident to help injured parties. An unknown number of people were transported to local medical facilities, where they were provided further care.
Investigators with the California Highway Patrol are working to determine the cause of the crash.
