Los Angeles, CA – Multi-Vehicle Accident at S Main St & E Manchester Ave Ends in Injuries
Los Angeles, CA (August 8, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in southeast Los Angeles ended in injuries. Just after 3 p.m., on August 6, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a crash that took place on South Main Street.
Preliminary investigations performed by the Los Angeles Police Department show that multiple vehicles collided on South Main Street at the intersection of East Manchester Avenue during the afternoon hours.
One of the vehicles involved in the accident subsequently struck a fire hydrant, causing it to rupture.
Injuries were reported as a result of this motor vehicle collision. Medical personnel responded to the scene to provide aid to victims before transporting them to local hospitals, where they went through further medical treatment.
The police and firefighters assisted at the scene for an extended period as they worked to clear the area.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the crash at this time.
