Los Angeles, CA – Motorcyclist Sergio Olivera Loses Life in Car Crash on Roscoe Blvd near Yolanda Ave
Los Angeles, CA (June 1, 2023) – The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office has identified 38-year-old Sergio Olivera as the motorcyclist who lost his life on Tuesday in the Northridge neighborhood.
According to officials, on May 30, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place on Roscoe Boulevard.
Investigations show that at approximately 540 p.m., a vehicle was traveling east along Roscoe Boulevard. As the vehicle attempted to turn left onto Yolanda Avenue, it collided with a motorcycle. The vehicle, identified as a BMW, fled the scene.
The motorcyclist was fatally injured in the crash. The victim, identified as Olivera, was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries.
At this time, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division detectives are investigating the crash.
