Motorcycle Accidents in California
Motorcycle crashes leave tens of thousands of people across the United States injured every year. Unfortunately, California is no exception. There are countless instances where innocent people are harmed as a result of motorcycle accidents that take place in our state.
Speeding car drivers are a major cause of motorcycle accidents in California. Motorcyclists are much more vulnerable to serious injury or death when involved in an accident with a speeding car. Drivers who speed often fail to see motorcyclists or misjudge their speed and distance, leading to tragic consequences.
Drivers who fail to yield to motorcyclists are also a major cause of motorcycle accidents in California. Motorcyclists have the same rights as other vehicles on the road, but they are often overlooked by drivers who are not paying attention. When a driver fails to yield, it can result in a serious accident that may even be fatal for the motorcyclist.
Finally, drivers who turn without looking are also major causes of motorcycle accidents in California. This is especially true at intersections where motorists often fail to see oncoming traffic, including motorcycles. Turning without looking can easily lead to an accident that could seriously injure or kill the motorcyclist involved.
