Los Angeles, CA – Injuries Reported in Auto Wreck at S San Pedro St & E 53rd St
Los Angeles, CA (August 22, 2022) – Authorities were called to the scene of the crash reported in the Vernon neighborhood that ended in injuries. Just after 3:40 p.m., on August 20, the Los Angeles Police Department received the request for assistance on-site at a crash that occurred on South San Pedro Street.
Police reports indicate that a collision between vehicles occurred on South San Pedro Street in the area of East 53rd Street during the afternoon hours. The crash caused severe disruptions in traffic throughout the area. A blue sedan was spotted on site blocking multiple lanes of the roadway.
The police and firefighters responded to the scene and blocked a portion of the road as they worked to clear the area.
Medical personnel rendered aid to the victims at the scene before transporting those in need of further assistance to local hospitals.
The Los Angeles Police Department is conducting an investigation into the crash at this time.
