Car Accidents in California
Auto accidents occur daily in Southern California that result in serious injuries for those involved. Unfortunately, we see many people hospitalized with spinal cord injuries, bone fractures, and other serious injuries that require medical care.
There are many different causes of car accidents in California, but some of the most common include driver impairment, failing to yield, and running red lights.
Driver impairment can refer to anything from being under the influence of drugs or alcohol to simply being tired or distracted. Regardless of the cause, if a driver is not able to operate their vehicle safely, it can lead to an accident.
Failing to yield is another common cause of accidents here in Southern California. This can happen when a driver does not yield the right of way to another vehicle or pedestrian, or when they fail to properly signal before making a turn.
Running red lights is also a major cause of vehicle collisions in the state of California. Drivers who run red lights put themselves and others at risk, as they may not be able to stop in time if there is traffic coming from the other direction.
