Los Angeles, CA – Hugo Amparo Ramirez Loses Life in Crash on Avenue E near 60th St E
Los Angeles, CA (August 15, 2023) – A head-on collision reported on Sunday afternoon in the Lancaster area claimed the life of 22-year-old Hugo Amparo Ramirez.
At around 12:45 p.m. on August 13, the Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a major crash on Avenue E at the intersection of 60th Street East.
Reports from authorities show that a Dodge Charger and a Chevrolet Silverado were involved in a head-on collision during the afternoon hours.
The drivers of both vehicles were killed in the crash. The victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. One of the victims was later identified as Amparo Ramirez. The second victim has not yet been identified.
Three additional victims were injured. They were transported to area hospitals, where two of the victims were admitted in critical condition.
At this time, investigations are underway.
