Car Accidents in California
Every day, crashes occur in the state of California that result in severe injuries. Unfortunately, we see tens of thousands of people hospitalized annually with traumatic brain injuries, broken bones, and even internal organ damage.
In terms of the causes of car accidents, it is important to know that almost anything can lead to an accident. Some of the most common causes of crashes in California include:
- Distracted Driving: Cell phone use while driving is a major problem and can lead to serious injuries or death if not stopped. If you are involved in a car accident and think that someone was distracted by their phone, contact a Los Angeles car accident lawyer to discuss your case.
- Drunk Driving: Alcohol consumption increases the risk of having a car accident, and impaired drivers are often at fault for causing collisions. If you or someone you know has been involved in a car accident because of alcohol consumption, contact a Los Angeles car accident lawyer to get legal help.
- Speed: A wrong turn at high speed can also lead to a collision with another vehicle or object on the road. Speeding also increases the risk of getting into an accident, even if you don’t hit anything else along the way.
If you are involved in a car accident and have questions about what caused it, contact an experienced Los Angeles car accident lawyer. They will be able to help you determine whether or not you have grounds for a claim.
