Los Angeles, CA – Fatal Crash Reported on 101 Freeway near Vermont Ave
Los Angeles, CA (October 8, 2023) – A fatal car accident took place on Friday morning in Los Angeles County that claimed one person’s life. The accident occurred at around 4:45 a.m. on October 6.
Reports provided by the California Highway Patrol show that a man was struck by a vehicle on the 101 Freeway in the area near Vermont Avenue during the early morning hours.
The California Highway Patrol troopers and firefighters with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene and closed off the roadway near the on and off ramps of Vermont Avenue.
The pedestrian, who was in his 20s, was pronounced deceased from his injuries.
At this time, the crash is being investigated.
