Los Angeles, CA – Fatal Crash on 405 Freeway near Sunset Blvd
Los Angeles, CA (May 23, 2023) – One person lost their life as a result of a car crash that took place in the Los Angeles area early Monday morning.
At around 3:36 a.m. on May 22, emergency officials were called to the scene of a crash on 405 Freeway.
Reports provided by the California Highway Patrol show that a total of four vehicles collided on the southbound side of the freeway. The incident prompted officials to shut down the highway near Sunset Boulevard.
Emergency officials confirm that one person involved in the crash was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of their injuries.
The number of injured parties is not known at this time.
Authorities remained at the scene until approximately 7:00 a.m. when they reopened the roadway. Investigations into the crash are currently ongoing.
