Los Angeles, CA – Fatal Collision Reported at S Central Ave & E Florence Ave
Los Angeles, CA (June 18, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident in the Florence-Graham area claimed at least one person’s life. At around 12:40 a.m., on June 16, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash on South Central Avenue.
Reports from authorities show that a crash occurred on South Central Avenue in the area of East Florence Avenue during the early morning hours. The driver of one vehicle fled the scene on foot before their vehicle burst into flames.
At least one person suffered fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An unknown number of people were transported to area hospitals with injuries.
The incident caused significant delays in the area as emergency crews closed off the roadway while clearing the scene and investigating.
At this time, investigations surrounding the crash are underway.
