Car Accidents in California
Car crash statistics from California show that approximately 350,000 accidents occurred statewide in 2022. These accidents send tens of thousands of people to area hospitals with injuries.
Some of the most common injuries that car crash victims suffer from include:
- Bruises and contusions
- Sprains and strains
- Spinal cord injuries
- Broken bones
- Cuts and lacerations
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Internal bleeding
Unfortunately, any serious injury from a car accident can require extensive medical care. Even if a person is forced to undergo several days of hospitalization, weeks of therapy, and months of rehabilitation, there is no guarantee that they will make a full recovery from the injuries they suffered. Many victims are left permanently disabled following their accidents.
