Los Angeles, CA – Aurora Reynozo Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Foothill Blvd
Los Angeles, CA (September 10, 2023) – A crash reported on Thursday morning in the Sylmar area claimed one woman’s life. The accident occurred at 9:00 a.m. on September 7.
Reports from the Los Angeles Police Department show that 87-year-old Aurora Reynozo and a second victim were exiting a vehicle when they were struck by a passing car on Foothill Boulevard.
Reynozo was fatally injured due to the accident. The second victim was rushed to an area hospital for emergency care.
Authorities state that the involved vehicle crashed into a total of six parked cars. The driver was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence.
The accident is being investigated at this time.
