Car Accidents in California
Being involved in a car crash can have an overwhelming impact on your life almost immediately. Victims of crashes are left with painful physical and emotional injuries. Quite often, we see countless people left with severe spinal cord injuries, broken bones, and traumatic brain injuries following their accidents.
There are many cases where innocent people are hurt as a result of car crashes caused by drivers who are negligent. Leading factors in car crashes we see here in Southern California include:
- Spinal cord injuries: Spinal cord injuries can be particularly devastating due to the fact that they often result in some form of paralysis. These injuries can result in permanent or temporary loss of feeling and use of the legs, arms, or both.
- Severe lacerations: These injuries can be physically and emotionally exhausting. People who suffer from severe cuts and lacerations are often left with permanent scarring that impacts their lives indefinitely. In severe cases, victims may suffer from nerve and muscle damage.
- Broken bones: Severe bone fractures can be incredibly painful. People who suffer these injuries often have to go through surgery and wear casts for several months. Depending on the severity of the injury, victims may also require therapy and rehabilitation.
- Internal organ injuries: These injuries can be incredibly life-threatening if they are not treated immediately. Unfortunately, many victims suffer from lung punctures, spleen ruptures, and other internal organ injuries that can be devastating.
