Car Accidents in California
Accident reports in the state of California consistently number in the hundreds of thousands on an annual basis. A significant number of people who are involved in these incidents sustain life-changing injuries. The state of California is, unfortunately, home to a number of different types of accidents. The following are some of the most frequent:
- Rear-End Crashes: Accidents known as rear-end collisions take place when one vehicle collides with the rear of another car. These accidents can be incredibly devastating and result in serious injuries.
- Broadside Crashes: In intersections, broadside collisions occur often. These collisions include the front of one vehicle colliding head-on with the side of another. Accidents that involve a broadside impact, often known as a T-bone collision, can frequently lead to rollovers.
- Head-on collisions: Accidents, known as head-on collisions, take place when two vehicles collide with each other while facing front-on to one another. Because of the frequency with which their airbags deploy, the vehicles involved in these incidents frequently sustain damage that is sufficient to render them undriveable.
- Sideswipe accidents: Accidents known as sideswipes often take place when a vehicle is unable to stay in its lane for an extended period of time. As a direct consequence of this, the driver of their car will be involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle.
