Fatal Car Accidents in California
Fatal car accidents in California take the lives of thousands of people every year. In most cases, these accidents take place due to drivers who are negligent. When drivers are traveling the wrong way on the highway, there is a significant chance that they will cause a severe accident. Regrettably, there are many instances where wrong-way drivers take the lives of innocent people.
There are many reasons why a vehicle may be driving on the wrong side of the road. In some instances, drivers are simply unfamiliar with the roadway. As a result, they enter the wrong direction of the roadway without even realizing it. In other cases, drivers may be impaired.
When drivers are under the influence, they may not have the ability to understand that traffic is flowing in the opposite direction before it is too late. Unfortunately, negligence continues to play a role in a significant number of fatal accidents that are reported in our state.
