Garth Matthew Drozin

Garth Matthew Drozin has practiced law in California for 33 years, since 1987, having graduated from Southwestern University School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review and the NTLA competition trial team as a scholarship student,.
He was awarded a Bachelors degree from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1975, received a Masters degree and scholarships from University of North Texas, and did his Doctoral work at Cornell University as a fellowship student. As a university professor, he became a Fulbright Scholar-Senior Professor of Music in Brazil, where he became the acting director of composition at the National School of Music at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
Numerous pieces that he has composed have been performed and recorded on 4 continents, and published by two companies. Garth Drozin has tried 266 cases to verdict as sole or lead counsel, beginning with his tenure as a Deputy District Attorney in Los Angeles County, and has tried civil cases on both the plaintiff and defense sides against venerated trial counsel, yielding an outstanding record of results. He retired from his tenure as a litigation manager at the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies, before returning to his previous law partnership in Westlake Village.
